From the Trans Canada, follow the signs for Eastport. The road runs through Terra Nova National Park. When you leave the park you drive through the little village of Sandringham. You'll pass the Harold W Duffett Shriners RV Park on your left. You'll also pass a yellow restaurant called Down Home Delights. The road you are on (Main St.) ends at Church St. Turn left for both Eastport Organics and the Beaches Arts & Heritage Centre.
We spent a week in Eastport, staying at the RV Park. It's a perfect location for visiting Happy Adventure, Sandy Cove, Salvage, St. Chad's, Burnside and Saint Brendan's. You can get gas and supplies at several different stores in town.
The Beaches Arts & Heritage Centre is a good place to stop first. They have an art gallery and a community theatre. They were happy to give us advice and directions for stuff to check out in the area.
Eastport Organics is right beside the Arts & Heritage Centre. We visited in September and it was a real treat to get a bag full of fresh produce.
The RV Park is well kept. Each campsite has full services including 30 amp or 50 amp electrical. Our cell phone worked well and the campgrounds WiFi was also very good. The campground hosts a lot of seasonal campers. All the facilities were top notch.
