The Cape Norman Lighthouse is on the very northern tip of the island. Take Route 435 towards Cook's Harbour from Route 430. Just before you get to Cook's Harbour, follow the signs for Wild Bight. The road changes to gravel, drive through Wild Bight and then watch for a gravel road to the right which takes you to the lighthouse. Watch for caribou in this area.

The lighthouse is located on a very unique limestone barren. There are no trees and several rare flowers and plants.

There are a couple of parking areas and walking trails. Stay on the trails, the eco-system here is very fragile. You can see the Labrador coast across the Strait of Belle Isle from Cape Norman.
