Harbour Round is just west of La Scie and Brent's Cove on the Baie Verte Peninsula. The road to both Brent's Cove and Harbour Round runs north off Route 414.
Harbour Round is not to be confused with Round Harbour which is about 14 km to the south. We did not make it to Round Harbour.
As you drive into town there is a house on your right where several model boats are on display. The fellow also has a little shop where he lays up the fibreglass hulls for the boats. We stopped to look around and had a nice chat.
Continue down the road a little further and you'll see a stairway to a lookout. It's a great spot for a view of the harbour and the town.
Further down the road there is a grocery store, fishing dock and some stages with a lot of character. There is a stage with a pretty amazing tilt. It looks like it could be falling into the harbour anytime. Hopefully it will be still there when you visit :) .
