The Water's Edge RV Park is located in Shoal Brook on Route 431, in Gros Morne National Park. Shoal Brook is in the south side of the park and is a perfect central location for visiting all the attractions and trails in this part of the park. The campground is right on Route 431, where the road runs along the south arm of Bonne Bay.
The sites are level gravel sites that back right onto the bay. It's one of the prettiest spots that you're ever going to find for your RV. There is an office where they also sell snacks and have tourist flyers. The washrooms and showers are in another building right behind the office.
Waters Edge has now added Waters Edge Suites to the campsite which will be a welcome addition to Gros Morne accommodations

We've had some amazing camping in Shoal Brook. One evening we watched a whale swim behind the trailer. Some mornings you wake up and the water will be like glass. Another morning I was sipping my coffee watching a fisherman checking his traps.
The hook-ups are 30 amp electrical and water. There is no dumping station. There is one right on Route 431 near Lomond. You'll pass it coming in and going out of the park. It's about 17 km from the Water's Edge.

There are too many attractions in the south side of Gros Morne National park to list here. Visit our Gros Morne page for an extensive listing. All attractions in the south side of the park are a short drive from Shoal Brook.
For services, Woody Point is only a 4 km down the road. You've got groceries, liquor, restaurants, gas and several craft stores.
The Water's Edge is run by Rodney and his mom, Maisie. It's also where we got to know Rodney's dad, Norm who was a former mayor of Woody Point. Norm passed away in the Spring of 2017 and we will miss him and his yarns.
