To reach Molly Made in Bonne Bay (Woody Point) you will take Route 431, also called Bonne Bay Road, at Wiltondale. Route 431 runs off the Viking Trail (Route 430). You will be travelling in a westerly direction. This is a very pretty drive, lots of hills and sharp turns, and if it is a clear day you can see the Tablelands off in the distance. As you approach Glenburnie the road will begin to follow the south arm of Bonne Bay.

The shop is at the western edge of Woody Point (Bonne Bay) on the main road.

Molly White is the owner and artist of this studio. Working with traditional art forms she is trying to resurrect the crafts , breathing new and contempory life into rug hooking, knitting and crochet. She is a very willing and patient teacher and we found her to be an engaging supporter of traditional Newfoundland crafts. While much of the work and merchadise is of her own making she also carries work by other local artists. Molly also sells kits so that a novice can get a taste of the these crafts. Most include all the supplies you will need to create a piece. The kit I purchased had the frame, mounted burlap with the image out line, the wools needed, the darning needle to complete the edge with a whip stitch and finally the instructions. There is also a website that allows you to buy kits on line. In the summer she teaches classes.

I asked Molly about handmade quilts and she said the keeper of the quilts was to be found at Pic a Tenerife Crafts which I tracked down also.
