Sign Board for The Bay of Islands

On Route 450 driving west you will come to the Humber Arm South Day Park on the north side. It is roughly half way between Halfway Point and Lark Harbour.

It is a grassy field that looks out over the Bay of Islands. There is play ground equipment and a picnic table. It is a great spot to admire the view and identify the various islands spread out before you. You are high above the water and as you look around you can see Copper Mine Falls and Route 450 heading off to Lark Harbour.

Newfoundland Travel Tips:

Check out the small community parks. They are well kept and often have small trails that start from them.
